Seminar to discuss benefits of arbitrating small commercial disputes
On March 24, professional development portal CPD On-Time will offer a seminar and webcast on ‘Arbitrating Small Commercial Disputes,’ featuring discussions on the many practical advantages of choosing arbitration over litigation for disputes under $100,000.
Speakers Mick Hassell, Colm Brannigan, Mitchell Rose, Marie-José Beauplan-Mann, Eric Gossin, Barry Fisher, Hari Balaraman and Mark Donald will explore the reasons for arbitrating small commercial disputes, and will also discuss topics such as arbitrating employment law disputes and legal fee disputes, what happens at an arbitration hearing, enforcing arbitration awards and arbitration ethics.
The event will run from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Novotel Toronto North York, located at 3 Park Home Ave., in Toronto, and also via webcast.
